Yonkers Fire Department has announced they will be joining us on the second Tuesday of every month for Taco Tuesday!
They came this past Tuesday and gave us an extremely generous check of $5,000!!!
We can't thank them enough for their generosity. They help us take care of so many more families.
November 15th is National Vehicle Donation Day! Did you know that you can donate your used car, truck, boat or RV to help benefit OUR House specifically?
Vehicles are picked up for free and donations are tax deductible! Think about it and share with your friends! This is a wonderful way to help our House. Visit www.CarsHelp.org for more info!
David Sloane contacted our House and wanted to do something different. He wanted to know what our families that are staying here really need. He decided that it would be best to give us $5,000 to spend $100 a week on fresh produce for our families.
This has helped our families immensly and we are beyond grateful to Mr. Sloane. Our families have noticed the surplus of fresh fruit, bread, cold cuts, and have really felt a relief that they do not have to leave their childs side to run to the store.
Thank you Mr. Sloane!
Entergy came to cook a delicious brunch for the families this morning! The House smells delicious! It makes our families mornings just a little bit easier when they don't have to worry about what they will eat for breakfast.
