Ronald McDonald House Launches “Help with All your Heart”
Hudson Valley McDonald’s restaurants participate in month-long campaign to benefit families of hospitalized children
Valhalla, NY, December 27, 2017 – The Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley is partnering with McDonald’s restaurants and other community businesses throughout the Hudson Valley to launch “Help with all Your Heart” during the month of February, 2018. The month-long campaign will directly benefit the families that use the temporary housing to stay close to their children when they are hospitalized due to serious illness or traumatic injury.
Customers at more than 100 participating McDonald’s restaurants can purchase a colorful heart for $1 from February 1 through February 28, 2018. All proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley located on the campus of the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. The House has serviced over 1500 families from the Hudson Valley and beyond, whose children are hospitalized at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and other medical centers.
Participating McDonald’s Restaurants are located throughout Westchester, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan and Ulster counties, as well as in The Bronx, Queens and NYC.
“Thanks to the generosity of so many, when the families walk through the doors of the Ronald McDonald House in their time of need, our House becomes their home. Contributions to this February campaign make a big difference for our families, but it is important to know that our need for support is all year long,” said Lisa Fine, Director of Events.

The 12-bedroom house opened on the grounds of Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY in May 2011.
