Tons of Love and Partnership

Pull Tab Collection has been a staple of the RMHC organization for years, and we take it very seriously – it not only helps us save the environment, it also helps our House.

Pull Tab partnerships have reinforced our House’s efforts so wonderfully through the years. Every Tuesday, a group from ARC Westchester comes to our House to help us corral the week’s pull-tab donations before whisking them off to the recycling yard.

Their team has even appointed a dedicated individual, the one-of-a-kind Ms. Samantha Makris to serve as their official Pull Tab Ambassador. This group’s kindness knows no bounds, and Samantha is the personification of that. It has been a joy to witness how selflessly and seriously she embraces her new role. She means business!

She even inspired her old friend Jeffrey Schrier to participate. Recently, Jeffrey donated a portion of the tabs he is no longer using for his artwork to the Ronald McDonald house as part of Samantha’s efforts. He joined Samantha and Ronald McDonald House staff at ARC offices just last week to present a $500 check for the tabs donated.
