Ernest C. Trefz Memorial Sporting Clays Invitational
Friday, August 20, 2021
Ten Mile River Preserve | Dover Plains, NY.
Ten Mile River Preserve offers world class stations for the sport of clay pigeon shooting. Often described as golf with a shotgun, the sport differs from skeet and trap shooting in that it involves shooting clays at various locations which are launched at different velocities and angles. This is our annual sporting clay event being held in memory of the late Ernest C. Trefz. Mr. Trefz was a McDonald’s Owner Operator, philanthropist and avid outdoorsman. He was also the founder of the Ernest C. Trefz School of Business at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Featured activities include an amazing raffle that features thousands of dollars in prizes. Each participant also receives breakfast, shooter gift, lunch, and a fun-filled day of clay shooting – all for a good cause! Please join us in support of the Ronald McDonald House. We’re on target to have a great day!
This event has concluded! Thank you to all of our sponsors, donors and participants! We look forward to seeing you next year!
