How We’re Funded

Our primary support comes from fundraising events, local grants, foundations, and the generosity of caring individuals.

WMC Relationship

Our House is located just steps away from Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, allowing us to provide vital support to families with children receiving medical care there. The Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley has established a close relationship with the hospital, ensuring that families have a comforting and convenient place to stay during their child’s treatment journey. This proximity allows us to offer a home-away-from-home environment where families can find solace, share experiences, and draw strength from one another. Through our partnership, we work hand in hand with the hospital to ensure that families have access to comprehensive support services, compassionate care, and the resources they need to navigate their challenging circumstances. Together, we strive to create a nurturing and supportive community for families facing medical crises, alleviating the burdens they may encounter during their stay.

Our Relationship with McDonald’s

Our relationship with McDonald’s has been foundational since the inception of the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and we are thankful to McDonald’s for being one of our largest corporate donors. More than 20% of our annual operating costs are graciously funded by Ronald McDonald House Charities, McDonald’s Corporation, and owner/operators of local McDonald’s restaurants. The remainder of our annual operating income comes from the generosity of individual and corporate donors.
