Ten years ago, Lori and George Decker and their family started Angels of Light by giving holiday gifts to children and families with life threatening illnesses in the Hudson Valley. In many cases, this may be the family’s last holiday together and Angels of Light aims to make it as special and as memorable as possible.

Last year, with the help of their community, Angels of Light sponsored over 100 families and delivered over 3,000 gifts. They purchased the gifts from the family’s wish list for all of the children in the household, and wrap and deliver these gifts to the home or to the hospital.

Angels of Light helps take the burden and stress off families, who do not have the time or spirit to shop during the holiday season; also the families can then spend more quality time with their loved ones.

Since 2016, Angels of Light has gone above and beyond to meet the “wish lists” of all children in the House during the Holiday Season.
