Host A Fundraiser
Together, We’re Stronger for RMHGHV Families
When a child is seriously ill, having loved ones nearby provides strength, comfort, and healing. Our House makes that possible—but we can’t do it alone. It takes a caring community of supporters, volunteers, and friends like you.
Together, we create meaningful connections and lasting impact through year-round events and personal fundraisers. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, honoring a loved one, or sharing your passion, you can turn your moment into hope for RMHGHV families. Start a fundraiser on your own or rally a team—it all makes a difference.
What You Need to Know Before You Fundraise:
-
Advance Approval Required: All events using the RMHGHV name or logo must be approved at least 30 days before the scheduled date. Please allow 1–2 weeks for review.
-
Naming Your Event: You may not title your event as if it’s hosted by RMHGHV. Instead, please say your event is “to benefit Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley.”
-
Use of Our Logo: You may use our logo or name only with written permission, and any materials that include them must be approved in advance.
-
Solely Responsible: Fundraisers are fully responsible for planning, set-up, clean-up, permits, and any associated costs. RMHGHV is not liable for your event and does not provide insurance coverage.
-
Where Proceeds Go: If RMHGHV is not receiving 100% of the proceeds, the exact percentage must be clearly stated in all promotional materials.
-
Post-Event Donations: Proceeds must be delivered to RMHGHV within 30 business days after your event.
-
No Profit Retention: Organizers may not keep any portion of funds raised. If expenses exceed funds raised, the organizer is responsible for covering the difference.
-
Mission-Aligned: Events must align with RMHGHV’s values. We reserve the right to decline any event not in keeping with our mission.
