“Niko’s Gifts” Comfort Care Bag Program Launch

Niko DiNovo - Niko's Gifrs

In honor of the one year anniversary of Niko DiNovo’s passing, The Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley and The Niko Dinovo Foundation have launched a Comfort Care Bag program, Niko’s Gifts.

The bags provide the essentials a family needs while they wait for a room at RMHGHV. We are so touched that his memory could inspire a program that will help so many families that pass through our doors.

The Niko Dinovo Foundation

On the move with #TheNikoDiNovoFoundation helping families who are forced to wait for a room due to unavailability at the Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley. Each family who doesn’t immediately get a room, will receive a basket full of necessities called “Niko’s Gifts,” in honor of Niko and the gift that he gave so many during his fight. I am so proud to be the big brother of such an amazing man!

This partnership is powered by the Niko DiNovo Foundation, Est. 2018. Niko DiNovo, then 16, was burned across 95% of his body in a fiery car crash into a tavern called “Blessings.” Niko had a 1% chance of survival rate on his first night in the hospital and fought for 508 days until he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Niko inspired thousands and thousands of people around the world before his passing.

His toughness, grit and go-getter attitude for 508 days are the reason we keep his precious memories alive. Raising money for some very special organizations that helped Niko and us (his family) throughout our journey to become bigger, better and STRONGER, #NIKOSTRONG: The Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley, the Hank Longo Burn Unit at Westchester Medical Center and the Burn Care Everywhere Foundation.

Our mission is also to help raise awareness for families of burn patients and talk to children about the dangers of driving under the influence. Let’s keep Niko’s fight going and make this world a better place!

Special thanks to the Ronald McDonald House of The Greater Hudson Valley (our home away from home) for making this possible!!
