Red Shoe Awards 2019 Honoree Profile: The Kids & Clays Foundation

The Kids & Clays Foundation

Doug Jeanneret, Executive Director

Non-profit Partner of the Year Kids and Clays

In 1999, Glenn and Kathy Lubeznik, McDonald’s owner- operators in Northwest Indiana, chaired the first annual Sporting Clays Tournament Event benefiting the Chicago Ronald McDonald House. With the support of Winchester Ammunition, McDonald’s owner-operators and McDonald’s suppliers, the event hosted 137 participants and raised over $16,000.

To date, the Kids & Clays Foundation has generated nearly $18 million to support Ronald McDonald Houses in the U.S. through Sporting Clays, Trap and Skeet events. More importantly, these events have raised awareness among thousands of participants, while assisting thousands of families served by Ronald McDonald Houses each and every day.

In the four years of their supporting our Ernest C. Trefz Memorial Clay Shoot, Kids & Clays has donated over $100,000 worth of funding including merchandise, items, staffing and support to help make our event a wonderful success.
