Michele Cohane

Volunteering at Ronald McDonald House: Volunteer of the Year Michele Cohane

Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, our volunteering honoree, Michele came to America in 1992 with a creative background and a passion for food excellence. She began her career as a sous chef and quickly became one of our area’s top chefs and caterers with an exclusive private clientele.

Michele is equally passionate about volunteering and providing healthy meals for people in need and is dedicated to volunteering and the Ronald McDonald House mission of providing a home away from home environment for families with children facing serious illness or injury.

Michele has two grown daughters and one granddaughter. She and her husband live on a farm in Westchester County, NY where she grows all kinds of vegetables used in many delicious meals for charities, her family and clients.

We are so very thankful to Michele who helps makes our annual Holiday Party a huge success.

P.S.: Michele makes the best meatloaf!
